This past November, students from our intensive English courses created and presented posters on their home countries to other IEP students and the UMKC community. This is an annual event the ALI looks forward to hosting every fall.

Below you can see the posters students created highlighting Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Moldova, Taiwan, China, a poster highlighting a group of our student’s experience at UMKC, and the city of Tokyo:
The Applied Language Institute had a wonderful time hosting this event in the Miller Nichols Library on campus. It was a great chance to discuss who our students are, where they come from, and foster community.
We look forward to next year’s poster session and be sure to check out our following blog post to read more of our student’s work!
