Unique Points In Taiwan

Taiwan, is a tiny island that you can barely find on Google maps, but it is a beautiful place. If you come and walk around, you may discover some surprises that you haven’t expected before. Taiwan is famous for a variety terrain, historical Chinese cultural background and a diverse minority. Most people receive this information by different media. Nevertheless, in my opinion there are more advantages that people should know about Taiwan. There are many aspects of Taiwan that make my country unique, but these characteristics stand out as the most important to me: it is surrounded by ocean, the food is delectable and it has convenient transportation. 

The first reason for my opinion is that Taiwan is encircled by the ocean. First of all, marine resources in Taiwan are abundant. For instance, fishing is convenient, so we have many options for seafood. Taiwan has diverse creatures in ocean. Taiwan has different kinds of coral reefs and marine organisms. Moreover, there are many beautiful sceneries and beaches in Taiwan. The coastlines and the colors of the oceans that in different positions have different landscapes. Finally, the tourism resources in Taiwan are abundant. We have multiple choices of marine entertainment facilities. For examples, tourists that from foreign countries often enjoy surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving in the beaches of southern Taiwan. 

Another way that Taiwan is special is because of the diversity of it’s food. First, different cities in Taiwan have disparately authentic delicacies. For instance, meatballs are cooked by diverse ways in different cities. In my hometown, we often fry meatballs, however; in the capital city, they often steam them. In Taiwan, we have multiple choices of food and you can choose whatever you want to eat. For example, night markets are known by all Taiwanese, it’s a place where you can choose various snacks depending on your own choice. In other words, you can enjoy all kinds of dishes at the same time. Finally, exotic restaurants are prevalent in Taiwan. Recently, more and more people who come from south Asian countries choose to immigrant to Taiwan. Therefore, Thai restaurants and Vietnamese restaurants are very popular in Taiwan now. 

The final reason is because of the convenient transportation. In Taiwan, we have multiple public transportation that offers people choice. People can take bus or MRT to the destination that are close to them. They can also take train or high-speed railway to different cities. If visitors want to travel to other islands in Taiwan. People can take a ferry or a boat to those islands. Furthermore, all kinds of transportation systems are connected to many places. It’s is not expensive to take a public transportation. If they need to commute every day, you can also purchase a monthly pass, which can save you a lot on transportation costs. Finally, the transportation systems in Taiwan are punctual, rapid and cozy. If they take high-speed railway, it only cost one and half hour from the south to the north. It is accessible for public to go anywhere without driving. 

In conclusion, there are many unexpected treasures and astonishing places in Taiwan that you may have never seen or known before. Taiwan’s breathtaking coastal scenery, various delicacy and comfortable transportation systems is worth to experience. Although visiting other countries may broaden your horizons even more, Taiwan remains a country that everyone should explore. Next time, if you visit this stunning and friendly country. You should explore those interesting secrets which really represent Taiwan. I think it will be a unique adventure that you have never experienced before.
